Two words ahead of the 2022 24 Hours of Le Mans..
There is something special about 24 hour races, especially when you realize how iconic Le Mans is. It is like touching the history, as the annual race at Circuit de la Sarthe has been held since 1923! A hundred films, ranging from documentaries to action, as “The Italian Job” and “Rush Hour 3″ are dedicated to the event. And we’ve watched them all.
Since the start of the WEC racing season, the fundamental question has been – when is 24 Le Mans 2022? As always, the 90th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be held at the Place de la République in Le Mans in June. Traditions, it is all about it.
Is the Le Mans still 24 hours? Absolutely, it seems nothing is changing for the race, which makes it even more iconic.
Although, some innovations are still done. Therefore, in 2020 we saw the first ever Le Mans virtual race. This was the most effective way to hold the race during the pandemic restrictions. However, in 2022 Le Mans Virtual already took place at the beginning of the year – 15-16 January 2022, becoming a separate event.
So, take your most comfortable shoes, chips, crisps, and a bit of patience, as it will be a long run!

The 24 hours of Le Mans 2022 date
After all technical and administrative checks have been completed, the first track action will take place on Sunday 5 June during the Test Day. The Hyperpole session scheduled for Thursday, June 9, in the evening and determines the starting positions on the grid for the race. The 24 Hours of Le Mans 2022 will start at 16:00 on Saturday 11 June and finish on Sunday 12 June.

Who will win this year?
